Default Unidentified port LEAKING on my proportioning valve HELP!

there seems to be a port that isn't used by any lines and it just has a rubber plug in it.
It just started leaking recently though.
Does anyone know what that port is for?
Its on the front of the pp valve in the middle of the other four lines.

I don't won't to replace it because some of the fittings on the lines are chewed up.
So I was thinking I'd pull the plug out and tap the hole and thread a plug in it.
