Sup guys. Need some info. Check it.....fiday night I went to the 1/8th mile track out here. was my first time running with slicks. I had 10psi in the tires. I wast to happy with my times. I feel I should have gotten better. I am running an 96 Integra GS-R with a 98 SpecR swap. DC 4-1 header, AEM CAI, Invidia catback, no cat, and 15" M/T drag slicks. My best tim out of 5 runs was 9.7480, my 60 ft time was 2.21, my mph was 73 mph. everytime i traped i looked down @ my speedometer and it said like 80 and my slips were saying 73. Everyone was saying the boards were messed up. Does this sound right? or should I be running better times? my 60ft suck because i am dumping the clutch @ 6 grand . All info appreciated.

id be questioning the timing system too but 9.7 is right on par with what it should run on a 2.2 60'.
the real question is how healthy the motor is. even in a GSR u should trap 75 minimum which with a 2.0 60' should put u down in the mid to low 9s.
my 99 EX coupe ran 9.6@72 on DRs and I/E.

i always thought my car was slow running an average of 9.4 to 9.6 with 2.185 to 2.2 60s. I must have a hell of a car. I have a gsr motor with my own port and polish with a 20 thou mill on the head . Everything else was stock including the cams. Type r tranny might help a little but i really didnt see much differences in my tiimes from my gsr tranny. I think driving will fix it over time and watch those tire pressures. I ran my time on kumho 712s
