Default how to do oil analysis?

I'm just wondering how is an oil analysis done? can you buy the materials from a store to test it out?

Go to the link above, request a free oil kit be sent to you, send the oil back to them w/ payment, wait for the results to come back.

You may laugh, but that is an old trick; smelling and tasting oil can tell you if gas or coolant got into your oil....
