Well, I've been wanting an Apexi WS exhaust for my typeR for awhile now. And I couldn't find one. I just found out there is one on eBay for really cheap right now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...885349&r=0&t=0

I'm really leaning towards getting a Spoon "sport" axleback and a 2.5 b-pipe also though.

It's $700 vs $300. What should I do here? Exhaust isn't a much of a big difference in terms of power. Mainly for looks and sound. Please Help.

Get a Spoon N1...if you like Spoon, thats the piece to have. the Sport exhausts probably won't make that much of a difference.

 

get what you want, because when you have more money you will want to buy the right thing

for instance i bought a used comptech header (300) and new exhaust (650ish) now i want to get a smsp header (for real) and 2.5" exhaust that routes under the axle probably another 500 more, but it is what i want

 

Yeah, I'm looking for the "sport" one because I want a quiet exhaust. Thanks for all the help so far guys. I knew I could count on H-T members.

N1 is a lot louder than stock...

I don't know what to tell you. I would only get an axle-back system anyway. You can always wait until later. It's not like your muffler is rusted out yet right??

 

What about the Mugen twin loop? Flows better, but isn't loud.

 

I'd rather get the spoon "sport" rather than the Mugen because I doubt the Mugen flows much better than the spoon one.

I think I'll see how the auction ends up. If it's a decent price and I can pick it up rather than pay for shipping, I'll get it. I guess if I make this mistake, I can also just get the spoon later. Nothing can be done perfect unless done over before.

 

man you have said yourself you're all about Spoon....why not get in on IPS's Spoon N1 group buy? the price isnt that much more than the Apex'i WS on Ebay, and this way you know you're getting a really nice piece of equipment, designed to fit the ITR perfectly. You can get the Spoon N1 with the silencer designed for the S2K, so it won't be so loud...that's what Im doing, and I put a few months worth of thought into it and finally decided it was the best way. The WS might sound nice and deep but after a while, like most ITR owners, you're just going to want more...more power, more rumble.

 

When is that going to happen?

 

If the Spoon is what you want, then I'd go spoooooooonnnnnnnie

 

The auction is getting too expensive.... Spoooooooooooooooooooooooon it is. No regrets.
