Default Day at the track (HT meet at Beaver Springs) Video

Well the meet at Beaver Springs went OK. Got a few runs in, tuned a car and saw some nice cars there. It is a notoriously slow track, so I wasn't expecting much at all. Atleast I had slicks this time to help a little bit. 60' times were really high today, the 20" slicks are still too small. I couldn't get below 2.2 all day, and actually couldn't even get them heated up, they didn't have water for us

My best of the day was a 13.8 @ 101, which I am pleased with. I wanted to get a run in before I put my new setup on and turn up the boost. All I wanted to do was get into the 13's and with bigger slicks and my new setup I should see much lower. I atleast have a video of me and Thai (rice4life). He has a JDM ITR with ITBs and skunk2 cams and what not. I tuned his car and we put down 180 Hp and 132Tq. He is in the hatch, I am in the coupe. My car put down 190Hp and 170 TQ on 8.5 Psi, and my 2" crush bent DP. My setup can be found in my signature, but most general is D16Z6, 16G, FMIC, and 450s.. uber of course. He got me at the end after I smacked rev in 3rd, seems all of my good runs something happened. THe best run I made, didn't even get clocked. That really pissed me off

NO idea on the weight. It isn't lightened in any way really. I am using a Mitsubishi 16G, the eclipse/talon upgrade. Soon to have a super 16G and a BMC race manifold.

5500, which was too high. But I didnt' get a chance to reset it. IT is too high for those slicks. Should have been like 4000-4500.

Jay from hybrid tuned that 240. I saw the dyno sheets I knew it would be a monster, but didn't expect 121mph traps on a slipping clutch

I was running my brothers real old slicks, that I had laying around. They are like 20x8 MTs... on like 15lbs, should have taken pressure out too.. I was just too worried with other things than racing. I will get to the 1/8 mile by my house soon.

BSD sucks, I know lots of people that go there and for some reason they like it. I think it is because they pay better than the other track close to home PRP. But seriosly, they need to change a few things, starting with a non rwd only water box, next some lighting wouldn't hurt, and the dips in the track suck. For those that have been there they know what i'm talking about. But anyway they do have some pretty neat stuff show up at that track, it's just a damn shame that they don't fix it up a little.
For comparison I lost nearly a second with my fwd on the bottle compared to PRP. That car is gone and the awd managed to get the same times at both tracks. But i did notice that at BSD even with the awd I have to take it a little eaisier off the line.
I was down there once met Alex and Eugene, black civic and a white hatch, at the time I was in a 92 cx. If either one of you are on here whats up?

nice runs man. I need to powershift my car at the track so i don't bog down when shifting into second on the slicks, but i'm afraid my tranny will fly apart

3 of them last time i checked. PRP imo is a nice track with shitty organization, bsd is shitty track with good organization. Good time at either place, but prp is only 1hr away and i like it there better.

Numidia is 15 min outside of Bloomsburg which is right off of I-80...they arent open yet....due to some issues..but IMO its a nice track...do a search for Numidia under the archives..its been talked about a couple times
