Default 91 civic dx 4dr. when she accels we hear a high pich noise from speakers :(

k like the topic says. we hear a high pich noise coming from the driver side speakers. its wierd. we swapped subs and now everytime she accelerates the noise gets louder? wth

Before The Noise
Panasonic Deck
Infinity Speakers
2 10" subs and 250watt amp

Noise Starts
Panasonic Deck
Infinity Speakes
2 12" Subs and 250watt amp

is it because the subs? or can i be the radio itself?
i dont really get it and we cant afford another dime to take it to circuit city and get it checked out :-\ damn money hoggers.
anyone get this problem before?
either that or we hooked the subs wrong. i need an answer

sounds like you might need what's called a ground loop isolator. it will help cut out any noise...

should be a fairly simple fix...

if the GLI doesn't work, consider looking to see if you ran the signal wires anywhere near something that might make noise (fuel pump etc...). it also could be the quality of your cables, they could be knicked somewhere, and if nothing else, get a power wire noise filter...typically for mechanical noise, but if the ground loop isolator doesn't work, that's you next best bet.

good luck
