injectors clips shaved..... soldering okay?
I recieved some corolla injectors from a HT member. I got out to the dyno and went to install them in the parking lot after the seller promised me that they would fit right in no problems. Well, to my dismay i found he shaved off any kind of little tab for the injector clips to hold on to. Now i need to find a way to get my car working. my option as far as I can see them are:
+ buy new injectors (doesnt sound very good to me)
+cut off the clips and hardwire/solder the wires to the injectors
+JB weld the clips to the injector, and then when i upgrade down the line remove and solder in OBD1 clips from my h23.
thanks, lemme know what u think!

yea i tried that while we were out there in the parking lot. Lawrence my tuner couldnt think of anything and suggested i get new injectors, but that soldering would work. New stuff if just sooo much bank. Im wayyyy over budget as it is, i just want this thing turbo'd its been three months of work and problems.

You could JB Weld the clips to the injectors, then cut all of the injector wires an inch or so above the clip and add in your own clips, this would be useful if you want to experiment with different types of injectors in the future also.
theyre 440, but resistor box installs bug the crap outta me.
I could build up that tab w jbweld thats a really good idea, ill see if i can pull it off. any other ideas?
