I ran the stock Integra mounts for a year and had about a half inch of clearance. Now I rebuilt the motor and used Hasport motor mounts and the engine is sitting higher. High enough that the hood won't shut anymore. Anyone else have this problem? Am I supposed to cut out the support under the hood? These are the DCSTK mounts.

 

That shouldn't happen at all.. Has the car been in any front end accidents, or anything that may explain this?

 

It did have front end damage, but that was before I put the GSR motor in my hatch. The stock mounts worked fine. Now these Hasport mounts made it sit higher. I'm going to call Hasport and find out whats wrong.

 

Do you have a VIS CF hood? They have been known to have problems rubbing on gsr swapped eg's. Good luck.
