Default Golden Eagle Intake Manifold - Please answer....

Anyone have one they can look at for me?
I have mine mounted on my prelude.

The IACV mounts on the back, upside down from how it mounts on the stock manifold. I am concerned about how this valve can possibly work like its designed to. There are 2 air ports. one should open into the body of the manifold and the other normally gets routed to before the throttle plate on the throttle body in order to allow bypassed air into the intake.

I clearly remember that there was no air tunnel coming to the mounting flange for the throttle body so how can this function?

thanks

mines mounted that way with no modifications to the manifold and works fine. so i guess just hook it up upside down.

i have it mounted. holes only line up the one way.

i'm just trying to understand how it could possibly work if the one hole is not vented to a point before the throttle plate.

so,
someone else in another forum answered...
the "vacuum nipple" under the manifold directly beneath the iacv is a vent for the inlet hole on the iacv, not a vacuum port...

so needless to say, it works now that i took off the hose i had on it.
