Hi everyone, I am new and very much like the site. I know some about cars and have been looking/deciding on the right engine.....

First, I found information on the specs (hp-torque-disp) of all the Honda engines but I lost the info. Does anyone have the specs of Honda motors?

Second, I am trying to pull a complete swap for $1000.

At max I only need 130 hp i'm not looking to go huge but does anyone know where I can get a d16 civic ex swap for around $1000? I live in Green Bay,WI and there is a guy in Wisconsin that says he can get me the d15 jdm vtec swap around $800 but I do not know how big of a pain jdm engines will be? I thought about the mini me on my crx dx but the motor and tranny are not the best. Does anybody have anyother ideas for swaps around a $1000?

ill sell you my d16 runs fine(i went b series) for300 everything. motor,tran,ecu,etc.. you just need a harness as i used that one on my b16. you should be able to get a harness for 40=? idunno for sure. MEAD441@hotmail.com

um yeah how much does shipping and handling cost on something like that?

 

For the harness to do the swap can I use one from a junk yard? Can I only use the civic ex harness? If not is there any sites that have resonably priced harnesses?
