Default helping a friend out.....needs headwork done

my friend needs a little help.......

he has an 01 itr and toda b's..... well his timing belt jumped and bent pretty much all of his valves.....

well, i got him all the parts he needs to fix it, but the machine shop that said they could do it, are backing out now and said that they cannot work on his head, b/c they dont have the tools to do so........


so my question is........

does anyone on here know of a reputable machine shop in, or ,around Little Rock Arkansas?

thanks for any help that you can give.......

i know of one in KC you could probably send it off too. i have a head there at this very moment.

you could always send it to inlinefour.com. they have a headwork program. I don't know if you can afford to have it gone for a few weeks.

I have mine out now too.

i will let him know...... i think he was looking for something a little more local.........

although, it does not look like it is going to happen......

I would definatly only send it somewhere that I trust. Or someone that atleast has expierience with hondas.

sorry, i didnt want this thread to die.....

so where would you suggest sending it to?

portflow
alainz (sp.)
etc.....

there are so many places he could send it, how do you choose?

should he get any other work done...... porting, milling, etc......

also, if he were to get say a 3 angle, or 5 angle, valve job done..... can they use the new stock itr valves, or would he have to purchase another set?

You should talk to Brad at RLZ. They are located in Concord NC. Brad does a great job on all of his heads.
