h23 intake mani on a f22b head?

Default h23 intake mani on a f22b head?

i read somewhere if it would be a direct fit. does it fit w/o and mods on it? how much of a difference is the h23 from the f22b intake mani? which car is the h23 off? thx for the help

i believe it will fit, the f22b and h23 are the same heads, the h23's are off the si preludes

I have one I am going to try soon to find out for myself, once and for all what the deal is... I removed the iab setup and ported the **** out of it while I have had some extra time to kill.

Need a prelude vtec tb still though before attempting to install... but if everything goes well I will be very intrested to see how the bigger plenum and longer runners work out, should make a bit more power up top.

the jdm f22b and h23 come with the same intake manifolds from the factory i believe...

pictures to point out:
f22b im


h23 im


both have the dual runner iab's from the factory...if there is a difference, it would be internal only...

f22b1 does not though... and thats what I an going to be trying to mock it up on to see if it will fit.

oh, i was under the assumption you were using the jdm f22b....that intake manifold won't fit either of the usdm f22's...

It bolts up, but you would need to do some serious portmatching and figure out that whole IAB ****
