Default vtec girdle on ls and b20 blocks

can you take the block girdle that goes over the 3 middle sections of the crankshaft from like a gsr and use that on an ls motor ?? just curious cause endyn is selling an aftermarket one and it says it can be used on any dohc motor. and they want 200 bucks for it and the oem ones only cost like 70. somebody help me out here

i found this thread and they said that if you use a vtec girdle you have to also use the windage tray oil pinkup and oil pan from that motor as well. so if i buy this one from endyn can i just use the ls stuff then ?

here's the other thread

You're better off just buying the stock gsr girdle and machining and doweling the mains of your stock b18a/b to accept the girdle. Should be cheaper this way.
