Need help installing ignition lock assembly
My sister's car was recovered after being stolen. Luckliy it wasn't stripped, just taken for a joy ride. The thieves jammed a screwdriver into the ignition. Right now, the old ignition is out and i just bought a new ignition lock assembly so I can install it for her. Can anyone give advice or instructions on how to install it?? Thanks! It's just sitting in our garage right now.

I received the new ignition lock assembly. Looks pretty easy to connect, However, i know what you're talking about with the break awaybolts. HOW the heck do i take that out with such limited space???????? Would it work if i just drilled holes through the top of the bolts??? Do i have to use an easy-out drill bit for that/?

get a little sharp punch and a small hammer and start hitting ccw ( counter clock) those brake away bolts are really easy to remove once you loosen them up ..trust me it is not a big deal takes a little patience
