for some reason my car is idling way high. its sittin at 1800 rpm after warm up. ive checked the idle screw and adjusted it both ways, and its as low as it can get. checked the throttle cable and its adjusted fine. i dont know what else coul dbe letting it idle so high. any suggestions?

 

What are your mods? Since when has this been happening, and how did it start to happen?


Did you check all your vacuum lines? Did you overtighten your throttle cable?

no vacuum leaks, iacv and fitv are all oem and new. throttle cable has been checked mutiple times and is fine. started happeneing after i cleaned out my tb. car is running on p28 with i/h/e. raediator has been checked and is bled, no air in the system. car has no egr, and no CEL's. kinda stumped on this one...
