Anyone wanto to critique my DPFI to MPFI conversion..
After much research I decided to go ahead and convert my harness to MPFI. I recently purchased a 91 DX HB and messed up the engine the first time out (drove it 30 miles w/o water). I knew I was going to do a swap soon(d16z6 or y8) so I drove till it died. Today I got a great deal on a Z6 (complete with P28, tranny which I cant used,dizzy..) for $300.00 so I picked it up. A budy of mine came through with an OBD-I H22 harness which he let me chop up to do what I needed. It was a bit more difficult using this harness because the H22 uses a resistor box and I don't plan on using one since I have the injectors that came with the motor.
Here are some pics, but I am not done yet. I still have to go back and fix some of the soldering and wrapping. Also, I still need to run C1,C2 and A3,A7 to the engine bay as well as extended the coolant plug. Please let me know if the wiring is correct.
Here is the Yelow DX to Brown and Red DX to Blue. Also note the 2 yell/Blk soldered.

I ran all the red/blk to the end plug since I will not be using the resistor box as well as the 2 yel/blk fro the Dx harness.

I extended and switched the TPS and extended the EACV (little long but better than short)

The coolant one which has not been done because I dont know where each wire should go. Any ideas?

Any comments? ideas? miss anything?
Thanks in advance.

haha i did the same thing last time i soldered. Looks good.
The coolant wires are grn/whi and red/whi. Should be located in the 14 wire plug on the passenger shock tower.

Looks like you just dripped hot solder on the wires. Did you heat the wires up and let the wires heat absorb the solder? Other than that, it looks good to me. You could just use 3m soft electrical tape and loom it.

I started to let it drip but then corrected them by heating the wires and came out much better. I also noticed that I extended the AIT plug rather than the EACV. io will have to fix that one as well.
Thats a very common mistake, the iat is the red and grn wires. I remember it by the "christmas colors" always leave them alone...
Yes, heatshrink is needed for sure.
The fan switch needs to be relocated to the thermostat housing. You can use any round 2pin plug for this. I use the tandem valve plug because it is not needed anyway, and needs to be removed from the harness. Polarity dosent matter when wiring this sensor.
Your wiring is correct other than that...
