h22 swap question

Default h22 swap question

ok i just got a motor (h22a) prept and ready to drop in a 96 accord ive done plenty of civic swaps and nissan swaps but people have told me to swap the accord oil pump into the h22 motor is this true and if so what is the reason behind it ? any help greatly apprechiated ty

im about to do this swap as well....is it nessessary to get a h22 pump? or can i use the accord one

you need an H22 pump. The F22 pump is a little shorter and will not bolt on.

i have H22 in my accord and i use everything from the H22. I have it in for a while now and neer have any problem. the minor mod was to make the hole for the power steering that come with the H22 a little bigger for the power steering hose from the accord to fit. but that is it.

This is wrong why would u need the accord oil pump?

but can u use a accord oil pump for the h22 swap or is the accord pump shorter or wut? thanks
