if so what did you do w/ the EGR hose that connected to a brass nipple on the top of the TB?thanks

 

i am... but i removed all the emissons crap(charcoal canister, egr, etc.) so I didnt have to worry about it! what kind of car is this in?

 

4 door gsr, I have jdm pistons w/ jun 3's.

 

did you try plugging it? throw a cel?

 

Just pull that **** out already. Is your car up and runnin yet? How did the throttle cable work out for ya?

 

no cel. throttle cable is hooked up. I started it and it was making kind of a loud sucking noise? the 2 bottom studs can't be used w/ the ericks racing TB so I only had 3 bolts holding the TB on so maybe that was the sucking noise. now I have to get that stud out of the manifold? idle was still jumping when I first started it.

 

I had mine sealed with only 2 bolts holding in my tb. That sucking noise is the engine drawing in air! lololol. j/k

the idle was probably jumping because it needs tuned, you have a chipped p28, with some erick racing tune thats just a good guess, and you dont even your fuel pressure.

If you put it on a dyno, you'll be able to see your air:fuel at idle.

 

Also, you dont have the FITV valve anymore right?? So you really gotta have a good tune at idle if you dont want lope. Should be to hard, your cams dont have crazy primaries. (which is nice).

 

I got everything back together started it it held an idle at 1500 rpm it was cold so thats ok.I let it run for 10 min. idle started jumping from 1000-1800. press the gas and it bogged out. I adjusted the cable but its still doing the same thing?

 

Umm, is the butterfly in the tb all the way closed? Do you have the IAVC hooked up right?? Try spraying something like carb cleaner or something and see if it bogs out, then you got leaks.

 

butterfly is all the way closed. Ill keep messing w/ it.

 

map & tps mixed up. doesn't bog out when gas is press which is always good. I need tuned super bad.maybe with in the next few weeks.I need to go rip on it alittle but that mite have to wait till tomorrow since I have the kids.
