Hey guys, Im looking to finally do some mods to my ep3. This is my daily driver so not going crazy with it. I would like to start off with something simple like an intake. Any suggestions from ep3 owners on what they feel is the best intake (type/brand) for this car is appreciated and about what you paid for yours. Thank you

I have INJEN CAI and it's great.

do you recall what that ran you?

 

I'm sure you heard it before, an intake is an intake. But I would go with either the INJEN CAI or the AEM V2. good luck.

 

i still have the injen CAI sitting @ home. mostly recommended as far as CAI for the ep.

 

Is the vtec alot louder like on the b series with an intake?

 

get CAI all the way !

considering the ep3 doesnt have "true" vtec, no. you do get all the nice intake noises tho. (slight whistle) sucking in of air, you know the noise.

 

have you consider AEM

 

injen cai put down the best #'s. i have their sri.

 

i recommend the comptech icebox to all...
best of both worlds

injen loud? i have an AEM CAI...love the sound...

 

im partial to AEM, but if not then what everyone else said

 

i had both short ram and cai by aem on my ride before,and the cai works best for me in feeling the difference.
