Alright guys wanted to know if i would have to upgrade my ignition to run 300-350 hp its a b18c1 fully built and i know i will use colder plugs and some 8mm wires, but can i get by with just that, i have a hondata stage 2b do i have to upgrade or is it just something everyone does, im kinda on a budget and if i dont need an ignition such as a msd then i dont want to get it, i dont know anything about tuning for turbo i was planning on having stoopid tune it for me when i get everything together. would it be easier to tune it if i had an upgraded ignition or its just a safety margin? thanks in advance for the replies.

 

I have run 425whp on stock all stock ignition parts, besides the Ngk 8 race plugs. You should be fine with the 2b.

stock ignitions are pretty good....

You should be fine for 350whp.

 

stock is fine, dont upgrade unless you see problems
