Even if someone bought one, liked it, then gave half decent reviews about it. I'd still be shady about buying a $40 header.

I bought a used Chikara header for 20 bucks. . Worked fine for me. And I got an Hf manifold for < 20.. hangs the turbo fine.

Its not ALWAYS about the money... but the pics do make the flanges look kinda sh1tty

I have one of the cheap ebay headers, they work fine and I actually like my 4-1, but they always end up rusting. Although, that problem can easily be solved by sanding and repainting it.

Edit: IMO I would not purchase a ebay header.

I purchased and used a ebay header for about 2 years and had no problems what so ever, had to change to a dc sports one cause smog came up and the ebay one wouldn't pass. IMO buy it and save yourself the $$$.

if your stock manifold cracked and you cant find a replacement i would buy it
if you are going for performance, look elsewhere

Of all the cheap headers i've come accross over the years, i would say that Megan racing makes a pretty good SS model, that can be putup against a DC Sports with very similar quality and performance.

And it's only $128 after shipping.

Hey, that's really not a bad price. However, you can pick up a used "real" DC Sports for around $100-$150. It may be used, but it would be 100% better quality. You might as well pick up an OEM exhaust manifold for $20-$30 unless you like having a chrome header that lasts for a day.

I have the Megan Racing header on my B18 and I like it. It cost about $125...well worth that little bit of $$$$

megan racing is better than dc sports in my opinion. Quality is great and price is awesome and i went 13.5 with that header on street tires so I'm not hating.

How do you figure that? Just because it cost less, dosen't mean its less quality. In fact the B16 4-1 Megan makes 6 hp to the wheels more than the Greddy SS b16 version.

i paid 20 dollars for dc 4-2-1 stainless header...you'd be surprised at the deals you can find on here. don't mess around with egay unless you are trying to find something obscure that may get listed at random.

I have a Megan Racing on my A6 and it made a nice low end gain, cost about 120-130 shipped and was well worth the price. I haven't heard of anyone else having the problem that I did, flange to cat was on a little crooked and caused an exhaust but I had a new exhaust installed anyways so I just rewelded the flange on straight. Otherwise great deal for a nice stainless steel header.

cheapies suck. i got a pacesetter one and it looked like it was welded by some one dripping solder on it from 3 feet in the air. If i was goign fo ra sheap header i'd go w/ megan or obx.
