b16 cams question sir II vs obdo b16
Are obdo crx sir b16a cams the same as the 92-95 b16sirII cams.
if not what is the defference
ate the motors the same hp? or is that a tuning issue (obd1 vs obd2)
thanks

I know for sure that the sirI cams are different from the B16A2 (99-00 si). Now, I'm not aware of being any difference between teh sir1 and the sir2 cams other than the computer.
Although I once heard someone say the sir2 had 170 hp, I woudnt be too sure about it.

The SiRII motor also has a slightly higher c/r. 10.4 vs. 10.2 for the 1st gen. B16A's. From what I understand, B16A cams improved slightly over the years.

I would guess about 4 hp. Some peopole use stock gsr cams too as an upgrade over 1st gen B16 bumpsticks.
The extra 10hp made in the 2nd gen B16 comes from a 60mm TB, better intake manifold, cams, and higher compression.

this would be going in my everyday driver................ dosnt make that much diff to me i guess i wont invest it would be like 100$ total to have them in my b16 but for about 4hp its not really worth it in my edd.
