my srs light came up after timing belt got changed. any ideas why this could be? if so what can i do beside taking to the honda dealer for a diagnostic which is $85 just to plug it to the machine?

 

you can always try to reset it and see if it comes back on or not.
resetting the srs lights have been covered on this board. you can do a search for directions on how to reset the srs ..
