vacuum tank?

Do i need this vacuum tank? its inside my fender after i toke out my fender(accident), theres a tube connected to the cruise control thingy. The vacuum tank is busted from the accident.

no you dont need that. just plug it with a screw and it will work good as new

is it a part of the emmisons? cuz i do got a 96 odb2 h23 and i hate geting a cel.
