Ive foudn it on ebay a couple time but im in the market for a PY type r and i wanna get the yellow recaro seats and interior the limited edition ones from japan anyone know where i can find some?

 

What up Mass dude. Have you ever seen those "limited edition" PY R's in person??? They are HIDEOUS, NASTY, GROSS, OMG STAY THE F AWAY!!!!!

Seriously dude, don't do it. It looks so bad and it gets so dirty so easy.

Did I mention how f-ing ugly that combo is yet? I had pictures from when I was R shopping but I reformatted and didn't save them.

Ok say you do find them and buy them, chances are they won't stay yellow for long.

nice setup...definate points in a show for being so rare, but finding a clean set is hard and then you have to pay a pretty penny for everything that is needed for the complete yellow swap

I believe they were optional in Austrailia as well.

 

i think it'd look better if it was black srd w/ yellow stitching instead of the whole seat yellow.. just my 2cent

They're not optional, it just depends on what year you get.
2000 - Yellow / Black interior
2001 - Yellow / Yellow interior

Can't say it's nice at all. Actually, I'd have to agree with AussieR and say they're quite ugly.

 

Is a nice (SICK) combo if you never sit on the seats. Is a pain to keep them clean for long but if you can good luck.

Is going to hurt your wallet BIG TIME!!!

 

Those yellow seats are so ugly.... and I hate ugly.

 

They make me hungry for banana's.

 

I hope the R will not be a daily driver because I will bet you anything it would be stolen with all the yellow inside.

And they get dirty easily and worn out quickly.

 

They may be rare, but man are they nasty looking. I'm glad they never sold them in our cars.

I agree with ya; black with yellow piping, like the shift boot, steering wheel and rear seats

I don't know if I've formed an opinion on those yet. Sometimes they look kinda cool and other times they look like straight up ***. Depends on my mood.

 

this one guy was selling on ebay...he sold a whole interior a couple times...lik 4 times...it had the steering wheels...shifterbood...arm rest...and rear seats...but he hasnt had um in a while....i love yellow and love the way they look and yes id have to tint or they would fail miserably and theres a type r for sale an hr away its only goin for 15 with 29k on it but i dont quite have the loot yet gotta wait till right before college im so pissed

 

i love that yellow int. just because everyone else thinks its ghey and ugly. i'll take yellow **** anyday over the red everything

 

I own two yellow cars, if I could afford it it would be in the R right now
