Default Abnormal start & idle on warm days

Whats up honda tech,

My CRX is acting up again. Let me start with the basics...

-When I am first starting it and it is warm out, 75+, it turns longer then usual. (this only happens when the engines cold, after it warms up i can turn it off and then start it fine) It will start but after the key is on crank mode for about 3x longer then it usually takes.

-When its idling, after the motor is warmed up, its really really low. About as low as it can go with out the motor turning off.

Those are the problems, this happens everytime the weather changes from winter to spring/summer. I think it is worse now because i am not at sea level anymore.

I dont have any internal mods on the motor. Its a bone stock B18A.

Any ideas will help, thanks in advance and i hope that this is clear enough.

increase your idle speed.

[QUOTE=cmy-vtec]-It will start but after the key is on crank mode for about 3x longer then it usually takes.

try cleaning the screen in your iacv.

iacv=idle air control valve (located on back of intake manifold)

Just remove the two bolts, leave the coolant lines connected, and spray the screen with carb cleaner.
