honda termanology? usdm, jdm etc.

Ok, i'm not an idoit but being from ohio im kind of in the dark to the lingo. Can you guys give me the real meanings of some of these abreveations. JDM, USDM, SIR, SIR1, SIR2, and all the other stuff you guys use, sorry for such a stupid question but its driving me nuts till I know, I have an idea on some of it but not sure. thank you. just found this site the other day and it kicks!!!!! thanks agian.

JDM= japanese domestic market
USDM=united states domestic market
EDM=european domestic market
SIR and SIR1=sports injection racing
SIR2=sports injection racing(2nd gen)
