TIMESERTS!! (where to find them)

Default TIMESERTS!! (where to find them)

where would one find these online perferably? i looked around locally and really cant find them anywhere, I was wondering if any of you guys would know. thanks alot

na i found tons of helicoils at the parts stores, but no timeserts anywhere

Look at their distributors list. I went with Engine Tech since I'm only 5 hours down the street from the. Always received my shipment is two days or less.

yeah i clicked on their distrubtors list but didnt know which one to try cuz they are all not local, but if you'vehad good luck with that one i am gonna shoot them an emai. thanks!

at work we use a distribution company called Wurth. They supply various shop consumables such as fasteners, AC dye, hoses, and also timeserts. Hope that helps.

timeserts are good but cost alittle bit of $. i had to use them on a few stripped holes.

yeah i stripped out a seat bracket nut, and well as you konw they are near impossible to get at from underneath so welding a new nut on would be out of the question. and I kinda would feel better if i had a stronger insert.

on a side note the cheapest helicoil kit I found was like 45 bucks, thats got the tap and handle and like 5 coils. I wonder how much timeserts are gonna run me.
