removing injectors? n00b
sorry i tried looking in the search but didnt see anything. anyhow i have a cracked intake manifold and need to get it taken out and welded
i have it stripped all the way down but i dont know how to get the injectors out, do they just slide in and are stuck? do i just make sure i have all the screws out and pull them out?

once you have the fuel rail off you just pull the injectors out. they are held in by friction. sometimes it helps to twist them as you pull.
depending on your motor, it might be cheaper/easier to just buy a new manifold, unless your getting the welding done for free

thanks for quick help
its a venom intake manifold, i think they are a few bills
my buddy has a aluminum welder so he said he do it. its so freaking hard to take out though, is it best to get to the bolts on the bottom from under the car?
heres the setup, sorry dont have a better one of the manifold, you can see its red sitting back there.

not exactly sure, the previous owner had this problem, and welded it and its been about a year and it has happend again, the manifold itself is one of the older round shaped ones (not the new square ones), and its cracked right where the weld is connecting the part where the intake is mounted on. the crack goes like half way around it and splits out some at the bottom. not good
any ideas on why it keeps cracking
