me and my buddie picked up a wiring harness from the junkyard and dont know which car it came from. it was laying on the floor and i knew it was for a honda. kinda looks like the harness for a 91 si hatch because it has the resistor box connection for the fuel injectors. ON the other side of the harness where the harness connects to the fuses there is this white plug that looks like the risistor box plug but its white and a lil bigger( its not connected to anything and on the driver side the big plug with all the wires is not connected because only 3 wire match up from this harness to the stock system. everything works but dizzy is getting no spark and its throwing two codes 6 and ten i think but i know what they are. just need some help on what i can do to make this work. engine is a single cam zc

ok i just made sure what the harness is and is a si harness from a 91 hatch. the wires on the drivers side connection wont match up except 3 of them. on that side which wires do i have to switch around si they will work? and on the passangers side there is this square connection that wont plug into anything so its by it self. this wireing harness is connection into a dx hatch 90. i got the resistor box for it and just those two last conections need to work so it can have spark.

 

ok i just figured out how to make it work. I just got the extra peice for he harness and ran the white wire straight to the computer and i got instant spark at the dizzy. ( white and gold wire) every thing is fine now just got a fuel problem, cyl # 1 injector is the only injector working so the other injectors are getting replaced by junk yard injectors. Ill let everyone know how it goes

 

Are you trying to put a si engine harness on your dx chassis? Please dont tell me you are

wow, finnaly i find the right place, yea im doing the same dang thing, single cam zc into my 90 hatch, using si harness, i wired while/gold cable to ecu and i got spark, right plugg by driver engine bay only 3 colors match up as well. i also only have the far left injector working only like my buddy ovehere, i tested to see if the other injectors had power, and they do, bu they are not spraying, what to do???

Ah geez! Thats a si harness with a dx chassis...

Please do it right, send in the dx and the si harness to me at http://www.rywire.com so I can do the dpfi to mpfi harness on your wireharness. You will never get the car running that way.

ok, your problem is the yellow and black wires in the si harness, run them to both yellow and black in the driver side harness. you will only use the red and yellow on the driver side bay harness, and you will need to run 2 wires to the ecu for the other 2 injectors. you will need to add another 2 wires to the ecu, and run them to the engine bay, and rewire 2 at the ecu.

best bet is to look up mpfi and do that conversion, its not hard at all

 

i tried wiring all 4 injectors straight to the ecu, colors: yellow, light blueish, red, and brownish. but i lost spark now, i dont know whats going on because the car doesnt turn over, just stressfull because ive been at it for about 3 weeks now. i would send u the harness but i destroyed the dx harness and all i got left is the si one...someone help me out seriously...

so if i sent u my si harness, u can change it so my car runs, what about that white square plugg on the passenger side of the engine bay, my car doesnt havbe that plugg comming from the ecu, what do i do about that or where do the wires run too?
