Default 19 inch wheels on my ITR??????

Hi there I am looking for feedback on 19 inch wheels on a ITR. I have a set of 19X7.5, 42 offset on my wish list, but don't know if they will fit right witout any cutting or any touching from the wheel to the car. Anyone has any experience on this one?

thanks

I dunno, you may have problems with 19's if your driving the car. 17's might be safer.

19s are way too big. They will slow your car down considerably. Is that ok with you?

too big... why? they actually dont look bad.

chris - who likes 15's and 16's but doesn't see what is wrong with 17. 18/19... getting close to fitment issues, possibly. (imo)

This can be argued back and fourth until both parties are blue in the face.... I personally feel there is nothing wrong with 17's. Not only do they look nice, but are also just as functional if not better than the 16". The reason I say this is because of side wall flex. Less rubber, less flexing.

19's on the other hand...don't forget that this diameter is not of the factory diameter so your speedometer and odometer will no longer be acurate. Though you'll save a ton in freeway gas milage

19 is just way oversized. I don't think a R deserves this kind of mistreatment.

I agree. It would look like a joke.
Hell, why not put some spinners on it too. WTF

They make spinners to fit ITRs? If I had known that I wouldn't have wasted my money buying the PepBoys plastic wheel cover spinners for my R

I think 17s are fine also, and i have seen a set of 18s on an ITR and with the right wheel you can pull it off, but i think 19s is stretching it a bit far, but if you can get them on without fitment issues and they look good then go for it...and post a picture when you get them!

Ricer.

Just kidding. I would actually choose only 15" or 17" in the future. 16" tire selection sucks.

STFU! God forbid 1 or 2 ITR's don't ever see a track and is only used for show/looks. The R doesn't deserve this kind of mistreatment? That's stupid. I don't think 19's would look too big but for performance its not a good idea BUT if you don't give a **** about performance than I say go for it.

I think 18's would be the max considering tire choices.
If my R was turblowed I would definitely have some 17 or 18's on it.
Lets not forgot all the great tire choices available in 17".

I've got 17's on my car...and i have to defend them from most of the track ***** ITR owners here on H-T, but even i think 19's would be dreadfully huge adn look bad.
