my friend has a 2005 si. he wants to put on dc headers but i heard they suck. can u guys tell me and my friend what would be a better brand or should we keep on trying to get the dc headers. allready have aem intake and 2.5 pipe upgrade.

 

Skunk makes a test pipe for the ctr. The app will probibly fit the ep3. Catch: its over 1000 bucks. probibly the best header for your app aside from spoon.

 

DC isnt bad, megan makes a shorty and a SS header also which for the money are worth it. I think they go for around $150? Jackson Racing makes a race header too. You have an intake and exhaust so I dont see why the DC one wouldnt work, I'm sure youd see the same gains with either, unless you got a race version.

 

i have heard really good things about comptech headers for the ep3. But in my opinion no one header stands out from the others. i think you should look for quality in this area.

I am sure you know that k20a3 lacks vtec on the exhaust side, and engage around 3000 give or take a couple hundred so headers wont help as much as it would in a k20a2 where it does that vtec on both intake and exhast side of valve train.

well anyways i am going shutup and just in my opinion just choose on which one is built strong.
