What size tire for 15 X 7.5 SSR Comps?
What size tire for a 15 X 7.5 wheel?
Seems 205/50/15 would be about the minimum, but decent tire choices become somewhat limited in the 15" range.
These will be for the track, and light summer use if necessary.
I've driven the 032R's, but was considering something more "race" oriented. TIA
Also have a fresh set ao the 205/50/15 Azenis sitting (unmounted) in my appt,
but they're for my stock CW ITR wheels (the 032R's on there are finally almost done).

I haven't gotten them yet!
But I've sold my GM ITR rims, and I'd like to replace them with these.
I spoke to someone at Tirerack late last year, and they are one of the two sizes (15X7.5 or 17X7.5) available for an ITR (DC2).
205 seems a little narrow, since I'm running those on my stock 15 X 6 rims now.
Just wondering what's appropriate performance wise, and don't want to have any rubbing probs (or have to roll fenderlips ..)
I don't remember which offset, will probably call them when I get home.

Kumho Ecsta V700 225/45R15, I think hoosiers come in this size also. Depending on offset, it'll be tight squeeze in the rears w/ this size.

... plus they've got the subtle *bling, bling* effect going for them too (as well as supposeadly only weighing 9.2 lbs!)
Yes, thanks for the IM
Maybe get together some time (emergency ITR mini-meet?) when I'm back in Ohio some weekend.

Ed, try the new Kumho Estca tire. I hear they are far better than the AO32Rs. Plus they are cheaper
Oh I do have a set of used hoosier R3S03 in the garage. $200 and they are yours

If you like the T1-S it also comes in a 215/45/15 which might be the perfect size for an ITR with 7.5 wide wheels. Just stirring the pot
