Default I NEED MORE SPEAKERS! WHAT DID U DO? LET ME KNOW HATCH GUYS.

SOME OF U MAY KNOW THAT ONLY 2 SPEAKERS COME ON THE 92-95 HATCHBACKS. I KNOW ON THE SI'S 2 EXTRA COME IN THE BACK ON THE SIDE PANELS NEXT TO THE REAR SEAT. I DONT WANNA PAY FOR THE WHOLE BRACKET BECAUSE IT WILL BE ALMOST 200 FOR THE WHOLE THING NOT INCLUDING THE SPEAKERS, JUST THE PART THAT ALLOWS U TO HOLD UP THE SPEAKER. WANTED TO KNOW WHAT U GUYS DID. LET ME KNOW HOW U GUYS GOT PASSED THIS OR WHERE ELSE U PUT SPEAKERS.

What I am going to do in my 94 CX HB is I sound some nice black suede at the fabric store

1 take the rear panels out and measure where that mounting hole is so I can drill a hole on the panle for center.

2 take a piece of 1/2" x 1/16" flat bar metal and make a mounting bracket for a 4x6 speaker

3. drill the 4x6 speaker pattern into the rear interior panel to let sound through

4 cover the panle with the black suede for a nice black and blue theme in my CX HB

5 Oh yeah redoing the front door inserts with black suede too to match the rear panels

good luck hope it helps

Just FYI, you can set up a killer system with only front speakers. In fact, many audiophiles would suggest runing only a nice pair of front components. Nevertheless, good luck on your project.
