Default just got in the mail :D anybody 18g?

i just got a 18g kit for my 00Si, i was wondering if any one had any advice or things to look out for... of course its a greddy kit 18g with a greddy type 24 intercooler. i got the blue box and a vafsc2 and 320 inj. for fuel but i want someone to tell me if its worth or better said if i should bother to use them instead of a chipped ecu(i dont know much of all this p28 and crap stuff) but i certanly want to hear from anyone that has any suggestions in the matter.

any dyno # would help too

Not neccessarily.. As much as I like Hondata, it isn't the answer to EVERYTHING...

just need something to adjust that timing...

Who is installing the kit, you?

If you answered yes to that question, please consider the following:
Do you have another car to drive while you install the kit?

If you answered yes to that question, please consider the following:
Do you own a laptop?

If you answered yes to that question, please consider the following:
do you have any spare cash around?

If you answered yes to all of the questions, it may be possible for you to learn to tune your own car using one of the many free ems' out there. You should consider a p28, ostrich, and wideband. The rest is nickels and dimes.

If it still has that big original Oil feed line i would replace it with a better quailty one. Me and 3 of my friends had issues with the factory one when we were running greddy kits.

if your going to run hondata, just run uberdata/crome or any ohter free ems. They are way cheaper and i feel in some ways more capable than hondata. Especially if your not thinking about buying either hondata or AEM.

Thats good for the stock boost setting but once you go up you will need something better for tuning
