i got a 95 lx, and everyonce in a while i get a weird beeping sound, its not even a beep. it sounds like my hazards are on but there not, the sound comes and goes (ususally when accelerating), and then all the lights blink with it. its sounding like a wiring problem cuz it happened once when the car was off. any body have any clues ?

 

Beeping sound? like when the car is off and you leave your lights on? id ask you to be more specific but in your case it doesnt sound like its possible... lol. Maybe the jdm mouse under the dash that runs the motor needs some water, or maybe he's hungry..

and btw, your hazards beep when they go off? wtf mate? and WHICH lights blink occasionally? headlights? CEL? MR light? domes? be specific so the experts here can actually help (not me hahahaha sorry)

 

i didnt say the hazards, i said it sounds like the hazards, but a different pace.

it comes and goes, and sometimes deosnt occur at all. and the lights on my instrument ( radio, dash, clock)panel are the ones that blink. but they dont go on and off, they just go from light to dark lighting.

 

do you have a alarm on your car?

 

Does your car feel like it is losing power when this happens? I had a similar problem with my old civic where the lights were dimming and flashing while I was driving and my car would feel like it was giving up... problem was a loose wire on my alternator.

Otherwise yes, I would say that sounds like an alarm problem (maybe someone had one in there b4 you and never removed it correctly)

yeah i actually do have an alarm, and bo it doesnt lose power, oone time it even did it before i turned on the car itself. so thanx for the answers
