on a BC Spec 2, what good would a silencer do anyways?
take it off and sell it
put your stock catback back on
take it off and sell it
put your stock catback back on
AFAIK the BC III is louder and i've heard one with and without the silencer. The exhaust gets very mellow with the silencer.
On the other hand, you are completely defeating the purpose of a free flowing exhaust by putting a huge cork in the end of it

I'm pretty sure the silencer is just a 1~1.5 inch pipe with some holes drilled in it attached to a cover plate the size of your tip. Simply get some shop to make one up for you, should be pretty simple for any compitant shop.

OMFG!!111!11!111!!!!!!! How dare those cops enforce the law -- how stupid. :rolls eyes:
I appreciate the cops pulling over people with loud fart cans, I can't stand how loud people try and make their exhaust sound sometimes.

i got pulled over and the cop said the same thing, but i just went to an autoshop and had them write me up a letter that said they changed my exhaust. when i went b4 the judge showed him the letter and everything was a ok. i didnt even touch my exhaust.

Heresy!!!! just kidding.
I'm not sure I've seen that said before on Honda-Tech. Although I think some people have different opinions on what "too loud" is, I agree that straight-through exhausts on an N/A car are too loud. I always used the silencer on the street with my Tanabe Racing Medallion for that reason. For the most part, putting that exhaust on was a bad decision (I say for the most part, because it was nice to have a few more ponies for stock Solo2).
Well anyway,
for having the gumption to say it.
