How much should I be looking to spend on a B16 head, wiring harness, and ECU? Also, what else would I need for an Ls Vtec Setup?

 

Nobody knows the dollar amount?

 

roughly 1200-1500 total for everything including install....

 

ok but what else am I going to need besides what I put up above (and how much should I spend on that stuff alone)?

 

are you planning on building a LS Vtec, if so, you may want to invest in the GSR timing belt and tensioner as well. And of course, water pump if necessary.

 

Is that really going to be neccessary for just a minor Ls Vtec Setup?

 

not sure if there is any such thing as MINOR LSvtec, but the gsr timing belt and tensioner is a good idea.....

 

so all I need to complete this project is the B16 Head, Wiring Harness, ECU, and Water/Oil Pump (from the B16). That's it?

Searching didn't bring up anything for me (tried searching for Ls Vtec and Vtec).

Do I have to use a GSR timing belt and tensioner or would a B16a belt and tensioner be just as good?

I just searched for 'lsvtec timing belt' and came up with 4 threads. see if they help.

I just learned something myself
