My 1993 Accord wagon was stolen last night. It was white, 5-speed in perfect cond minus a few hood roof dings on the Factory paint. IT only had 112k miles and I am very sad. This was probably that best car I have ever owned. I live in Victorville Ca. THe plate number which I do not have with me now, has GOV in it. No full coverage insurance, wow what a lesson to learn. I had no idea that the older Accords were still targets.

that sucks dude. i'd be pissed if someone jacked my wagon. do you have any old pics you could use in an attempt to locate it.

 

Sorry to hear this, same thing happened to my roommate. He dropped his full coverage and a few months later his car was stolen, stripped and left in a remote place in the middle of some blackberry bushes. Hope everything works out for you and you get it back in good shape.

 

crazy.. i didnt think old accords were targets either... expecialy a wagon?! hah im not saying any about the wagon but if i were to steal a car i mean.. it would sumthing smaller..i would think.... who goes around saying to themself "I CANT WAIT TO STEAL ME A WAGON!!" ... but sorry to hear that man.. u dont know your own plate number? how is that going to help? hope you find out sum info on your stolen car... or maybe the guys who took it

Yea my 95 lx was stolen with a f'n butterknife in under 1 minute. I got it back 2 days later though still in-tact, nothing stolen, only he backed into something and fucked up my bumper a little.

 

Wow, that really sucks. There arn't that many 4th gen. 5-speed wagons around. Post a pic if you have one.

I remember when my car was stolen......

I heard my intake go off and lo0ked out the window and seen them fuckerz leaving the neighborhood with it. So me and my homeboi jumped into his bmw and went lo0king for them since they wasnt in sight. I use to steal cars myself, and i know how a car thief thinks. So we hit the highway and wat do u know.... we apot the fuckerz in my car. We pulled up next to them and i had my baby .45 wit me and pointed at them and told them to pull over...them **** dipped! It was raining hard that night too. So we was doing 100-120mph in the rain chasing them hispanic teenz. I was so pissed while was was following them i was shaking like krayz! i wanted to kill them fuckerz haha. Eventually they got onto a bypass and crashed my car!! So we pulled over and i jumped out started busting at him while he was running,(never seen no dude run so fast in my life haha!) I doubt i hit him though since i was running and busting at the same time. What a lucky night that was for me. I had only liability on that car since i've done already paid it off.

But yea, karma will get you.

Hey I have a Story. I was at work during my first post! And my wife called in tears. The Police found my wagon only about 1.5 miles from my house at a construction site. The doors were all open, my registration was missing. They got into the car with a small screw driver that was left behind, they only took the battery! The Police got a good set of prints where the suspect pulled on the glass the un-lock the car. The Police told me that there is a Group of 18/19 yr olds that have been stealing 5-6 cars a night for months. Just to mess with the Cops. Why they only took the battery?

Well I was so happy, Went to Costco to get a new battery, had to use a screw driver to start the car. Later on in the evening A went To PePBoys to get a ignition switch. Well the unbelieveable happened!

I WAS SITTING AT A RED LIGHT AND BOOM! A LADY IN A 2003 ACCORD REARS ENDS ME IN THE RECOVERED WAGON! She must have been going at least 25-35mph. She did not even touch her brakes. Her Airbags deployed and her car looks totaled. My wagon looks like it may be buckled, she hit just under the tailgate dead on the bumper, but the body moved in front of the rear tires. I have bumper material resting on the muffler. The doors seem tight and my drivers seat even broke. Thank God I was not in my 1991 Civic Sedan. That wagon is strong in a accident. The B@#%h tried to say it was my fault that the light was green. Right! I have a witness that was married to Deputy sheffif that stayed arround. I have to run over to the Police Dept to file a Counter report, The Cops never showed up and Dispatch gave us the option for filing this morning. I will try to post some pics later. Crazy Day.

 

Oh crap man. That's some messed up stuff there. Some force of nature is trying to take your wagon from you. If it is totaled would you try to get another. Would you part out your parts on ebay or something.

 

Not sure? If they totaled the Wagon, I would not try to find another one. I did a Autotrader search and only 5 were for sale in the whole Country.
The parts on my wagon look new it has 112k, cross that bridge later. Write now I am comtemplating getting a Lawyer. The lady that hit me lied about the event. she stated that the light was green, and I did not move. she said she did not stop because she thought I was going to move. I was sitting at a RED light Period. I am not even sure if red or green lite makes a difference.
Her car went under my car and lifted the spare tire area. Her car is Totaled.

she wouldn't win the case. like you said. whether or not the light was green or red, she ran into the back of you. 99/100 if someone hits you from the back, it is their fault. besides she told on herself if she said that she didn't stop because she thought you'd move. what a dump bi#$@. I would have wanted to cuss her *** out for possiblly runining all my hard work I put into my wagon.

 

WHAT THE HELL, man you have had some bad luck recently. Sorry to hear about that. I wouldn't worry about that lady and her lies, like you said it didn't matter about the light color she hit you. She has probably done the same thing before and doesn't want to loose her insurance. Good luck and hope it all works out for you.
