got my allign. now what?
I am not good with aligment/camber.
Are you dropped? If so, how low?
IMHO, I don't even like camber kits. Some say it's good for the car, some say it's bad.
Bad-monkey should chime into this one.
PM him John.

oh i thought you were the suspension guru!
its dropped with h&r springs and kyb agx's
how can a camber kit be bad? isnt it better than leaving it at this negative camber?

No, I am far from a guru.
Since you're not dropped that low. You don't really need a camber kit. IIRC, negative camber is better for handling but wears out the tires faster if the camber is real bad.
I have heard of horror stories with camber kits. Then again, I've heard good ones too. It is really up to you.
Try running without a camber kit for a month or two. Check your tread wear. If it's bad, then get a camber kit.
I believe Shakes (Doug) has a brand new camber kit for sale. Unless he sold it already.
This is coming from a guy that ran Tein SS (finger gap all around) on his 5th gen w/ no alignment or camber kit. My tires were fine. (215/40/18)

Not sure. I don't see why it would. Maybe if you installed it wrong, it'll hurt something. lol
I did a search on "camber kit" under archives and found 2 pages of camber kit info. Try it out, until the suspension gurus get here.

in theory neg camber will hurt grip for braking and acceleration, but help grip in turns (within a range). For example most road race Honda's run anywhere from -2 to -4.0 deg. chamber for best overall lap performance, however if you run this much chamber on a street car you will likely wear the inside of the tire faster than the outside.
I would just leave your car the way it is for now and if you start to wear the insides of the tires real fast then worry about getting a chamber kit. The main thing that will wear your tires is the toe so just make sure that is near zero.

That is what I'm saying. There is no need for a camber kit unless you have major tread wear. You don't want to spend money on something you don't need.

crap i just typed out a long as reply and lost it.
i would get a rear camber kit, since the -2.63 is a little excessive in the rear for a daily driven car. even for a race car the -2.63 is a little too much negative camber in the rear. i would set it at around -1 degree in the rear.
577 is right about handling/traction and camber. in theory straight line traction would be best with 0 camber, however suspensions being what they are, when you're launching the front springs decompress as the weight shifts to the rear, and the suspension geometry in the front changes the camber to become more and more positive (and the rear becomes more negative). in a FF car, you'd probably want some static negative camber up front so that the camber is closer to zero when the car is laying down most of its power. on a race car that turns, you'd want tons of negative camber. -2.5 degrees F, -3.0 degrees F, and -1.5 or -1.0 degrees rear. when turning, camber is one of your best friends.
on camber wear: i personally don't think camber wear is a big deal at all. camber combined with severe toe-in/toe-out will kill tires, but that's mostly the toe setting. a couple degrees of negative camber with zero toe won't significantly affect the life of your tires. i've been running my tires for the past 15,000 miles with -2.0 all around and haven't noticed any camber wear. the tread is about 1/4" deep all the way across the tire.

I would say progress. IMO, OBX is too APC'ish for me. They haven't been around long enough.
Do not forget to thank 577. He has been around here longer and have helped a whole lot.
