Skunk2 camber kit question.
Car = 1992 Civic hatch using a Gen. 1 Skunk2 front camber kit.
The balljoints are pretty worn out and I need to replace it with a new balljoint.
I noticed that the overall control arm design on the s2 gen. 1 and gen. 2 arms are the same, the only visual difference between the gen. 1 and gen. 2 camberkit is the balljoint design right?
So if I were to hammer the balljoint out, would it be fully compatible and replacable with the gen 2 balljoint?
Thanks for the help.

Well to get the ball joint out u just take the 4 allen bolts out. Looks like they use the same style but the bolts are accesed from underneath rather then on top and looks like a better boot design

There is no need to hammer anything out, you replace the whole ball joint plate, and yes the are interchangable. But do pick up some cotter pins.

Nope just pull the wheel off pull the cotter pin out loosen the 17mm nut pop out the ball joint then pull the arm down and take the 4 allen key bolts out then put the new one in and then install the balljoint to the spindle then torque cotter pin good to go.
