I have a 2005 Accord LX with the stock Navigation and it has a DVD player in the trunk that's only used for software updates for the navigation system. I was wondering if theres a software mod or way to allow the DVD player to play movies while driving? Also, is it possible to run other 3rd party software on the system? If it is possible to modify the software, I'd like to get rid of that warning screen that makes you press "OK" every time you start the navigation.

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

 

yes there is. it can be modded to play DVDs. It is even rumored to be able to windows (oh God why?). check out accordv6.com
