ok, so i washed and waxed the R and left it sitting in the garage. i come back and hour later to go drive, and thats when i heard it (only on right rear i think)
as i was backing out and i barely touched the brake, it sounded like a medium pitch dragging noise, similar to a rusted rotor noise i guess.. it did it two times and then was gone.
can water on the rotor or pads make it do that? the rear pads are still real beefy, and the rotor is clean and good. or is it something with the caliper?

either that or your rotor may be rubbing against your heat/dust shied.

hmm, i dont see how that could be the problem, it has not rubbed before, and no work has really been done to the car. still insane low miles on it. could not have been bent during a brake job since it has not had one.
who knows, i just hope it doesnt come back

hehe, pretty cool.
After washing my R and cleaning the wheels, sometimes the brake rotors make a dragging sound when lightly pressing on the brake pedal. After two more stops down the street, the sound is gone.
No issues.

Happens to me all the time.. though one time a pebble somehow got stuck between the rotor and heatshield and made one hell of a noise.

I'm 100% sure this was rusy rotor syndrome.... but I had that pebble thing too once! Actually caught one between the caliper and rotor.
