what else can i do to avoid putting in a obd1 harness and comp.so the v-tech could engage and the wire harness to bolt up perfect.

dont do a RPM activated switch. get the conversion harness from OBD-0 to OBD-1 and run a P28 ECU w a 4 wire O2 Sensor and the OBD-1 dizzy. Trust me its worth it. Otherwise the motor will never run to its potential..

Just do the conversion. You will be much happier with the results. Using an rpm switch activates VTEC but it does not change the fuel and timing maps. When the correct ecu is used the maps change when VTEC compensating for the increased air entering the engine.

if you got money, a zdyne one wire makes it very simple to use your pm6 ecu.
