my accords radiator blew up
i was backing up my 95 accord and it just blew. the whole top its plastic it was the stock radiator. can you guys help me find out what happend and what is a good brand for the racing radiator.
if you are runnig a race setup, get a bigger radiator made from aluminum or some other metal. since your car is 10 years old, it is not uncommon for the radiator plastic to crack due to age. it is pretty simple to replace, you can do it in about 2 hours if you are a total noob at that stuff. might as well replace ALL of your hoses while you are at it.
plastic endcaps = 100% failure rate (eventually...it may take a LONG time)
no need to go to a thicker all alluminum unless your uber rich, or you beat on the car in the summer alot....otherwise, just get another OEM replacement...itll last your another 10 years for alot less money
