I know they made a 4 door Integra type R. I've seen a couple in my life (in person) and some pics of others.....but...

Where can I buy one ??

I can't seem to find (internet) anywhere that has info on the years of manufacture, specs or a place to get one. I don't even know if they made them all 6 years of production (96-01).

Were the 4 doors only sold out of japan or did they make it to the European market ?

I am trying to find out as I am in the market for another car and would love to get my hands on a 4dr teg...preferrably an ITR model if possible... can anyone help ?

 

They were made from Aug 1995 till the end of production in 2000 and were only sold in japan for the Japanese market, so unless you can get JDM cars in trinidad and register them easily for road use then your out of luck

 

Thanks for that info, at least I know they were made up to 2000.

A large majority of the cars here are either JDM or from Singapore... so I can get it from Japan, but we have new limits on vehicle age.

Its up to me to actually source the car and ship it in... just can't seem to find any FS !! If I can't get an ITR, I'll get a GSR model or find one FS locally, but I would prefer to start off with an R chassis.

ANY help would be appreciated...

 

If many of the cars you have there are JDM then there are obviously importers that source cars in japan so your best bet would be to ask them to order/buy one for you in japan. I have access to numerous JDM auction houses and at this moment there are 16 DB8 integras (9 SiR-Gs and 7 ITRs) up for auction between 6 different auction houses in the tokyo/yokohama area....

I have asked 3 importers to source the car for me and they are basically giving me the run-around... trying to sell me used CTR's, EP's or DC5-R's... which I don't want. That's why I have come to HT to ask (normally I wouldn't ask a question like this here... what are the odds that ppl in the states would know...ya know ?)

So you said you have access to auction houses ? I haven't seen any vtec DB8's at a few websites I've visited... got any links I could see ?

 

I think someone had a 4 door ITR in wisconsin... damn i can't remember which board it was on..

I have one being painted right now..its a 98 spec DB8 ITR with airbag but no ABS...for the Right price its FOR sale......
