Default attn: mista bone or any other tranny gods

I have a loud input shaft bearing on my 93 sohc delsol tranny. is this a serviciable part? is it hard to fix? and lastly do you know what the honda part # is? thanks

My guess would be rebuild. If there is another solution I haven't found it. That is what is keeping me from fixing mine.

I was plannig on some kind of rebuild in the near future, but considering cost of rebuild to used I still dont know whats the better choice.

Yes, you can replace the input shaft bearing. No, it's not hard to do (this coming from someone who's had a few tranny's apart, mostly L3's). If you were interested in different gearing, this would be the time to do it. You've got to open up the tranny to get the bearing out. I strongly recommend getting a Helm - the tranny section has excellent detail.
