lol...I had to replace the tag brackets on the 91-DX I got and man there was rust just like that inside the rear bumper...And the body of my car is virtually rust-free.

 

well i have a very small amout on the rear quarter not bad yet other than that no rust....or so i thought thank god i didnt get rearended or good bye crx

 

looks like my rear support. I just got finished with the front. Had cut out the inner section of the middle support beam. Nice now...

 

damn that sucks..... my hatch has alot of rust around the front windshield and thats it i hope. i better strip my car to see if i can find any more. i hope i dont have that

Is that the bumper support or what is that? If that's just the support than you can get a new one.

 

Rust around your front windhshield. I never heard of that one before. I have the more rust and dents on my hatch then it deserves. My hatch is also taking in water around the front windshield. I woke the other day after the bad thunderstorm with two big puddles of water in my hatch.

Yep sure is.....*coughsigcough*

They're notorious for rusting through before any other part of the car. I had mine shipped from 'bama they were so scarce

 

I though mine was rust free too. When I was installing my cage I slipped with a wrench in my hand and stabbed a 1" hole in the floor board!!

I have to remove the bumper this weekend for intercooler fitment.. I'm praying now for a healthy return

 

Thats all those years of road salt, my ReX is from SC born and raised.

 

yea i know i have to get another one but the only rust you can see is a small spot on the rear quarter and i just bought a pristine replacement panel for $100 from the local junk yard
