Default Installed Spoon 2-ply gasket on my ITR ...

I just installed my Spoon 2-ply head gasket. I am reading 235 psi across the board on my pistons, is this what I should expect ?? I didn't read my compression before the gasket, what should my stock compression be ?? Thanks !!!

Hmm. Is Budman's car basically stock except for the cam gears?
I believe so, at least as far as internals.
Makes me think cam gears would help w/stock cams!
(not to mention I/H/E fine tuning, along w/VAFC ...etc)

My R is basically stock. Other than the Spoon gasket, all I have is AEM cam gears (not tuned), AEM underdrive pulleys, and an IceBox intake. The car has 10k miles on the odometer so its fairly new. I plan to install a JDM 4-1 header with carsound cat, MSD ignition with external coil, and hopefully a set of cams (maybe Toda Bs or Jun). I am waiting to have all this installed before spending cash at the dyno to tune the cam gears. I also plan to have some kind of ECU management installed by then. Does anybody have actual compression numbers for the Spoon head gasket ?? Thanks again !!

Yup. They do help a bit.

I had thought that it changes the compression .3 but I am not sure. Did you feel any difference?

Yea, the difference is very feelable on the ***-dyno, the difference between stock and after the head gasket is definitely there. I mostly feel more torque where there was none before, and the car seems to pull harder on high revs. I've yet to tune the cam gears but I am certain there is more power to be had after the dyno tune session.
