Default 02 sensor - Universal or OEM?

Just want to get everyones opinion on that type of sensor to get. I found the Bosch sensor for about 55.00 dollars and the standard denso OEM version is 110.00 dollars.

The car is a 90 Accord EX and if i can get away with the bosch sensor i will, just want to see if anyone has had experience with them.

thanks

I am having similiar problem with what you are having now with Bosch O2 sensor at half of the cost from OEM. I decided to save some dollars and bought bosch O2. Few months later, I then got engine check light and the code came up pointing to a defective O2. When I went to Pepboys (that was where I bought the O2) and explained what happened. They said for me to return the part, I will need to have someone at Pepboy check it. I figured they would try to find a way to pocket some $ by checking it. I declined it. Now I am stuck with defective O2. Looks like that it is smarter to put up and pay more for OEM O2 at first place. Many people I asked said they had no problem at all with Bosch O2??? Just my 2 cent experience. Maybe I just happened to have a defective one, but maybe Bosch parts should stick to German cars and NKG/other Japanese brand parts stick to Japanese cars??? I will eventually get OEM O2 to replace what I have now - yet paying more. you know the saying "cheapskates pay more" and this may be a good example?
